At TS Fitness, we hire the best fitness coaches and staff with a wide range of backgrounds, certifications, and specialties. Noam Tamir, Founder & CEO

Noam opened TS Fitness with the vision of creating a community-rich fitness environment that people really looked forward to coming to. His staff is not just made up of top-notch coaches but great people that make members feel connected and valued. Noam is inspired by getting people feeling better and accomplishing whatever goals they have. When he's not at TS Fitness, you can find him enjoying live music and spending time with his family.

Edwin Gonzalez, Community Manager

Edwin is former collegiate pitcher from Brooklyn, NY - After finishing his career, he went on to graduate with a degree in Business Management from Monroe College. Being an athlete Edwin always had an interest in health and fitness. He believes a balanced lifestyle is the way to happiness. When he is not building the community and managing at TS, you can find him DJing in NYC or hunting vinyl at a record shop near you.

Chelsey Yearian, Fitness Coach

Chelsey has worked at a variety of studios in New York and across the country. As a Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach, Chelsey is less about striving for diet perfection and more about encouraging you to eat the occasional donut with your kale salad. She’s a fan of short bios, chocolate chip cookies, coffee, and Phoebe Buffay.

Alejandro Terrazas, Fitness Coach

Coming to the United States from Bolivia when Alejandro was only 14 was a challenge, from learning a new culture, to language to overall lifestyle. His struggle with being bullied and always being told that he was incapable of anything made his life a true challenge. As he grew older he developed the skill to attain confidence and mental strength through fitness, allowing himself to become a lion who tears his fears apart. In a society where we lack self confidence and motivation, Alejandro believes as a coach his job is to help any client truly master their fears through training and by becoming stronger, powerful and unleashing themselves from those chains of “you can’t”. He motivates every single client to make their own shadow, and develop a new and stronger healthy lifestyle. He's here to help you live longer.

Elvin James, Fitness Coach

Being a coach allows Elvin to partake in two of his favorite aspects of life: being able to be helpful by assisting clients in reaching their fitness goals and meeting both clients and trainers from all walks of life. Elvin lives by three “F’s”: family, food, and fitness. He believes that family is a strong support system will help to propel us to the heights we’re all trying to reach. As for food, he feels that sticking to a healthy, balanced diet is the key to achieving your goals. And finally fitness-- being consistent with your exercise regimen gets results, When he isn’t coaching, you can find Elvin shooting hoops, playing baseball, and spending time with his dog.

Henry Halse, Fitness Coach

Henry is a personal trainer from New Jersey. He got into fitness to improve his tennis game then started training his friends. After graduating with a degree in Exercise Science from Ithaca College, Henry moved to Boston to work with athletes. He then moved to Philadelphia, where he was an independent personal trainer for three years. He's also a fitness writer, and currently writes for livestrong.com. Henry believes that becoming fit is a Sisyphean task, so the key is to do workouts and activities that you enjoy. Outside of the gym, Henry likes to play tennis, travel, and read.

Ashley Zimmerman, Fitness Coach

Ashley is a personal trainer, professional dancer, and circus-enthusiast. She started strength training to keep up with the intense physical demands of aerial work and found herself feeling more confident and empowered in every aspect of her life. After watching several family members battle chronic illnesses she decided to become a personal trainer She believes that “Health is Wealth,” and her mission is to inspire people to get up, get moving, and stay active. When she is not training clients she can be found dancing in the corner, hanging upside-down, or watching The Great British Baking Show.

Filip Andreev, Fitness Coach

After emigrating to America at the age of 3 with his parents from Bulgaria, Filip was raised in Queens. He always had a passion for sports and fitness, leading him to get a degree in Exercise Science/Sport & Exercise Psychology from Ithaca College.

Filip is all about approaching a fitness goal with the most effective and proven methods using up-to-date scientific concepts and by tapping into the psychology behind mental barriers that we all face today. "Half the battle is just getting to the gym, the rest is just staying consistent,” said Filip.

As a former collegiate basketball and volleyball athlete, he understands injuries and knows that overcoming injuries is more mental than physical. Despite various injury related setbacks over the years, Filip believes that “Injury makes the comeback sweeter!”

When he isn’t coaching, you can find Filip playing basketball, doing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, watching movies, and spending time with his family.
