Why GLP-1s Need Coaching, Not Shortcuts
Right now, a lot of people are being prescribed GLP-1s through medical offices or third-party providers with very little guidance beyond “eat less.”
That’s a problem.
One of the known side effects of GLP-1s is significant muscle loss. Appetite is suppressed, protein intake often drops, and strength training is either misunderstood or ignored altogether. Nutrition becomes accidental instead of intentional.
That’s not health. That’s weight loss at a cost.
My goal is to learn how GLP-1s can be integrated into a fitness and coaching model the right way—where strength training is non-negotiable, nutrition is properly adjusted, and people are educated on how to live a healthy lifestyle while overcoming real physiological challenges.
This isn’t about quick fixes.
It’s about doing things safely, intelligently, and sustainably.
It’s about helping people feel better, move better, and keep the results they work so hard for.
I’m exploring how we can offer this level of support to current and future members in a way that aligns with our values and our standards.
