This past weekend, I was in San Diego visiting my brother, sister-in-law, and my two adorable nieces. Family time was the highlight, but if you know me, you know a trip is never just leisure. There’s almost always some business mixed in.
While I was out there, a mutual friend connected me with a female gym owner who runs something very similar to what we do at TS Fitness. We sat down, talked shop, and I have to say, her story hit close to home. Her career path looked a lot like mine.
There’s something special about meeting fellow small fitness business owners who are genuinely passionate about what they do and have real ambition behind it.
We talked about the possibility of doing some business together down the road, so you’ll have to stay tuned on that one.
But the bulk of our conversation came back to one thing: why we both believe so deeply in small group training.
The community it builds.
The results it delivers.
The way it changes people’s relationship with fitness.
In case you need a refresher, here are a few reasons small group training really works:
- Weights are tracked, so you can consistently increase strength and build muscle tone
- You learn proper form and get crucial feedback, which makes it great for all fitness levels
- If you have limitations, the program can be modified without compromising your results
It was a great reminder that what we’re building here at TS Fitness isn’t just a workout; it’s a model that genuinely works. And it’s encouraging to know there are other passionate owners across the country who feel the same way.
